A position is now available for an experienced HVAC
installer. The applicant must be clean cut, energetic; customer focused;
extremely motivated to succeed; accountable for results; organized; adaptable;
work independently or in a team environment; whatever it takes attitude; confident.
Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and support in the installation of HVAC,
boilers, and boiler room related equipment.
Perform routine HVAC installations, preventive maintenance,
breakdown repair, and basic troubleshooting activities.
Conduct equipment readings critical for operations,
efficient performance, and reporting.
Provide clear, accurate, customer-focused verbal &
written communication.
Deliver top quality service in a timely, efficient, &
customer-focused manner.
Ensure compliance with company, industry, and state and
local codes.
Perform other duties as required.
Requirements:
The individual must have a minimum of 2-3yrs of installation
experience. Applicant must have tools, transportation, and a valid driver’s
license. All applicants should have EPA certification; R410 certification; Nate
certification; CSST certification; vocational school training a plus. Applicant
must have the ability to lift up to 75 lbs and transport equipment & tools
in excess of 300 lbs. Applicant should be
familiar with the use of tools of the trade; distribution systems; gas furnaces;
gas boilers; condensing units; gas lines; mini splits; and pumps.
Skills:
The applicant should have the following skills:
- suspend duct and set equipment
- soldering and brazing
- install all types of ductwork; insulate & seal ductwork; cut sheet metal, make offsets to duct as required
- work in new and existing construction; work in open or confined spaces; cut plaster ceilings cleanly; frame wall openings
- use a recovery machine; evacuate piping; flush piping; pressure test piping
- comprehend blueprints; wiring diagrams and installation instructions
- cut and glue PVC pipe
- low and high voltage wiring; use voltage meter
- check superheat and sub cooling; test and start equipment
- piping (iron, copper, pex, pvc, and csst); thread pipe with machine
- hot water boiler and steam boiler piping
